One More Reason to Move to New Zealand

I love this portable house from the architects at Atelier Workshop. It is such a clever design as well as being environmentally friendly, unfortunately it is only available in New Zealand.

Elisabeth Dunker

I have been a frequent visitor to Elisabeth Dunker's blog, Fine Little day for a couple years now, but it is only recently that I have become acquainted with her illustrative work. Her Aesthetic is distinctly nordic which is especially true with the work she has done with textiles. Many of her products are available through her blog, which I highly recommend.

The Selby

What can I say about The Selby that hasn't already been said. It seems like over the last few months I can't turn around without hearing something about Todd Selby's photography site. Where he features the living spaces of artists, musicians, writers... really anybody in the creative world. The personal nature of the photographs makes them strangely addicting, it feels as if you have been invited to a really great dinner party with the most interesting and eccentric hosts.

Serenity

I realize not everyone feels the same way I do today, but personally I am elated by the exquisite possibilities today brings. And although I'm sure I won't always feel this way over the next four years, right now I am sincerely hopeful.

Gallery Walls

I really like the look these spaces have with the collage of photographs on the walls, it seems like one of those elements that might look best when it comes about organically, so I'll try to patiently achieve this effect in my apartment, I've never been that patient though.

Aesthetic Apparatus

Aesthetic Apparatus is a Minneapolis based design duo that is best known for their limited edition screen-printed posters, which you can purchase on their site. They have also done some refreshing, non-poster work for the likes of Criterion Collection, Chronicle Books, and Secret Garden Films.

Robert Maxwell

Robert Maxwell specializes in celebrity portraiture and you'll often find his provocative work in that area featured in the New York Times Magazine and Fortune, but I also really like his monographs and nudes which have a mesmerizing, old fashioned quality to them.

Fontaine Anderson

Fontaine Anderson is an illustrator based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her images are captivating with a beautiful line quality, which is especially true in her simpler compositions.

Rachel Roy

Although it's a little crazy that designers are already coming out with pre-fall collections, I love the wearability, bold colors and striking patterns in Rachel Roy's collection. And the model is cute as a button.

Cocoons

I know I already mentioned how cold it is yesterday but it is so insanely cold here I can't possibly think of anything else, so here's another chilly themed post about scrumptious looking beds that I wish I could just entangle myself in and not emerge from for days.

A Good Reminder

This adorable print from K Wilson, is helping to cheer me up on a ridiculously frigid night here in Wisconsin.

Anna Wolf

Anna Wolf is a New York based photographer whose work is predominantly made up of fashion photography, I really like her carefree and emotional style and you can definitely see the influence of her childhood in california in the images.

Camilla Engman

Camilla Engman has been one of my favorite illustrators since I first saw her work a few years ago and I continue to be enthralled. You can visit her web shop where you can purchase a range of products with her illustrations on them, such as calendars and tea towels. She was also recently commissioned to design a pair of converse sneakers which you can purchase here.

Perfection in Slab Serif

I have fallen in love with the new font Archer from Hoefler & Frere-Jones and I couldn't possibly describe it any better then they do, "Sweet but not saccharine, earnest but not grave, Archer is designed to hit just the right notes of forthrightness, credibility, and charm."

Style Muse

Another French style obsession of mine, adorable actress Clemence Poesy, Simply stunning!
