Life Packaging

I think this packaging by Mio Matsumoto is just too cute. (found via creature comforts)

Paul Smith A/W 2011

I haven't been posting much on the current season of fashion weeks currently going on, because I was out of town, so I got a little behind. But as soon as I saw the Paul Smith show I knew I had to share. The Patti Smith inspired androgyny paired with such a rich, beautiful color palette is stunning. Not to mention, how obsessed I am with the bottom models hair cut!

Michelle Armas

I find that I'm obsessed with bright vivid colors lately, maybe I'm inspired by all the vibrant hues that have been showing up on the runways the last couple weeks or maybe it's just a longing for the summer to come. Whatever the root, these beautifully paintings and prints by Atlanta based Michelle Armas satiate my color cravings. She also sells her paintings and prints at really reasonable prices, I want one so bad, I'm just having a hard time picking just one!

Friday Etsy Round-up

Hooray it's Friday! Which means It's time for my Friday Etsy round-up, where I compile a list of the best handmade and vintage items I've found while scouring the corners of Etsy (links below image).
Also look forward to my Puerto Rico photos next week!

Crystin Moritz

I really like the work of Berlin based photographer Crystin Moritz, her imagery has a beautiful textural quality to it, thanks in part to her experimentation with double exposures.

Tie-pography

I just think this Tie-pography, designed by Ed Nacional, is so clever and cheeky, no?

Redmond Aldrich

I was just turned-on to San Francisco based design firm Redmond Aldrich by a post on Seesaw, and I had to share as well because they do such lovely work, and incorporate so much fun color.

Smitten List

I'm back!! My trip was so amazing and I'm feeling very refreshed and reenergized so... mission accomplished. I will be doing a more in-depth post about my stellar vacation later this week but for now we are back to the usual schedule with my Wednesday Smitten List. a round-up of things I'm coveting or smitten with. Sometimes there will be a theme, or it will be more gift focused and other times it will just be things I'm super crazy about that week, so enjoy! (links below image)

Flying South

VACATION, Hooray! Well I'm off to Puerto Rico for a week, so I will not be posting again until next wednesday. I hope to come back with a tan and a bunch of lovely pictures.

BHLDN

Well it's here! The Anthropologie bridal collection BHLDN, that has had the blogger world all a twitter as of late has arrived, and on Valentines day, awwww. It's as gorgeous as you might imagine, with antique detailing and scrumptious colors. For those of you who are currently planning your wedding I would strongly suggest taking a look even if it's just for inspiration. Below are a few of my favorite wedding gowns but they also have lovely bridesmaid dresses, and accessories.

Happy Valentines Day

I can't hate a day that could result in receiving chocolates and flowers, even if it is overly commercial. It's a nice reminder to be extra doting on your significant other, and I'm a fan of any excuse to love my sweetie up.

Hannah's Coaster Post

I recently received a blog request from my dear friend Hannah, who recently got engaged, yay! She also recently bought a new coffee table that she wants to take care of, which is highly responsible, so she asked if I had any cool coaster ideas. Little did she know this would make me spiral into a coaster obsession! I really didn't realize how many cool options there are out there for coasters because I am not responsible enough to take care of my furniture yet. But my search was far from disappointing, below are a couple of my favorites.

1. This beautiful set is a great D.I.Y. project featured over at designsponge a couple of months ago.

3. You can buy these letterpress coasters over at The Cranky Press as is, or custom design or own, eek! so many options.

5. Another D.I.Y. option, I love this one because you can really change it up by using anything from old photographs to maps.

This hand lettered type is beautifully genius. (found via iiiinspired)

Emilie Lindsten Photography

I'm captivated by the images by London based photographer Emilie Lindsten, especially her landscape shots, they almost look like the could have been taken in outer space, very eery.

Tzannes Associates

Sometimes when I'm feeling especially irritated by the clutter in my apartment I start fantasizing about living in space like the ones designed by Australian architecture firm Tzannes Associates. There minimalistic design style looks so soothing, but how do you keep it that way? that's what I want to know.

Smitten List

It's Wednesday morning which means it's time for the Smitten List! a round-up of things I'm coveting or smitten with. Sometimes there will be a theme, or it will be more gift focused and other times it will just be things I'm super crazy about that week, so enjoy! (links below image)

Fashion Inspiration

A couple of my favorite shots, from my favorite fashion blogger, Karlas Closet, she is my fashion idol and boy does she know how to work a print.
