Kelli Anderson
I'm so jealous of everything graphic designer Kelli Anderson does, I wish I had come up with her awesomely fresh and delightful designs.

J.Crew Fall 2011
When I saw the new J.Crew fall collection I was immediately obsessed! The collection skews a little more structured sophisticate then previous seasons while still maintaining that fun casual vibe, J.Crew Creative director Jenna Lyons seems to have mastered. I just want to wear it all.

Liebsten Blog Award
I'm so honored to receive a Liebsten Blog award from Toks Visoks. This is the 2nd I've received this year which makes me blush just a smidgen. Now I must pick 5 bloggers with less then 100 followers who I would like to pass this award on to. Last time I picked blogs based on their blogspot followers, but this time, to change it up, I'm choosing my favorite blogs that have fewer then 100 followers on bloglovin' So without further ado here's my Liebsten Awardees 1. My Best Friend Jules 2. Pattern Observer 3. Whatever She Wants 4. A Merry Mishap 5. Art Hound All of these blogs bring me endless inspiration and happiness, so thank you!

Margo Moritz
I'm quite taken by this black & white series of photos by San Francisco based photographer Margo Moritz. They have a beautiful personal feeling to them that draws me in.

Recipe Review: Cashew Chicken
The best cashew chicken I ever had was when I went to Thailand my first year of college and ever since when I order cashew chicken I'm always hoping it will stand up to my memory of this perfect Thai dish, but of course if never does. So this past weekend I tried my hand at making my own, I went off of this recipe at Simply Recipes, and to tell you the truth I was quite impressed. I think I need to finesse it just a little bit more but I would say I'm on the right track to repeating my cashew chicken experience. (image via simply recipes)

Dancing in the Sand
I love the mood this picture evokes, shot in Portugal by Bill Perlmutter in 1957 it definitely makes me want to dance. Via Pinterest
Smitten List
Smitten List time! A round-up of things I'm coveting or smitten with. Sometimes there will be a theme, or it will be more gift focused and other times it will just be things I'm super crazy about that week, so enjoy! (links below image)
New Dwell Studio Bedding
Have you guys seen the new spring bedding prints DwellStudio came out with recently? Swoon! I can't get enough of them.

Joao Lauro Fonte
The illustrations of London based, and Brazilian born artist/designer Joao Lauro Fonte are so crazy cute I can't get enough of them. You can also find several of his illustrations at Threadless.

Bliss
This precious photo reminds me of my childhood growing up in rural Wisconsin, there was nothing better at the time then exploring the outdoors with friends. I came across this image on one of my new favorite blogs The Midwest Treatment, as a lifelong midwesterner, this blog always makes me smile.

Daydreaming of Scotland
Today has just been one of those days when nothing seems to be going quite right. On days like these I often find myself daydreaming about grand escapes and browsing pinterest for the most beautiful locales to flee to. This particular photo caught my eye, maybe because it was taken in Scotland, the land of my ancestors.

Movie Artwork
I'm really loving these movie posters and cover artwork. At the site Reelizer you can browse pages and pages of these posters by different designers and artists. I'm warning you it can get really addicting. Below are a couple of my favorites.

Friend of Mine
I'm obsessed with the spring collection from Friend of Mine, it's so cute and accessible. Also it's not totally apparent from these particular photos but the model they used for their lookbook is not a stick thin, skin minnie, which is always nice to see in an industry that seems to applaud the skeletal.
Elizabeth Taylor
Toy Stories
When I saw these illustrations posted by the lovely Julie over at Julie Digs Design I knew I had to repost. How genius are they? I think I've mentioned before my love for any artwork or design that has a healthy dose of irreverence, which is why I am so enamored with these adorable pieces by Aled Lewis.
