Brisbane Beauty

I just found my dream home, oh and it just happens to be for sale in Brisbane, Australia for over a million dollars, so... who's chipping in? Seriously though, is it not the most beautiful home? With all of the mid-century modern furniture and the lamps!! I'm just going to stare at it a little longer. via desire to inspire

Elena Kalis

Stunning black & white underwater photography by Elena Kalis. Based in the Bahamas (lucky!) Elena focuses her work solely underwater, which produces some of the most lovely imagery. I Love how they invoke such a calm yet creepy atmosphere.

Birds with Bowties

I'm so in love with this adorable print I just had to share. You can purchase it at Cake with Giants, who have many lovely prints to peruse.

Recipe Review: Quiche

It seems like every spring I go through a quiche phase, where I make it for dinner at least once a week. Maybe it's because the weather prompts me to want something lighter but still comforting, but also I love how fancy it seems while really being quite easy to make, full disclosure: I cheat a little by buying my pie shells from a local bakery that makes and freezes them daily. I also love how versatile they are, if I have a pie shell in the freezer and eggs in the fridge I really can throw whatever else I want in to the dish and it comes out splendidly. Recent iterations have included chives, with goat cheese and bacon, or leeks and mushroom with gouda. Below are a few recipes I've found that can get you started but I really recommend experimenting with your combinations. (Links for recipes can be found below the images)

LF Lookbook

Check out this pretty amazing lookbook by LF, it has that Mad Max vibe just with the murderous apocalyptic vibe toned down a wee bit :)

Smitten List

Smitten List time! A round-up of things I'm coveting or smitten with. Sometimes there will be a theme, or it will be more gift focused and other times it will just be things I'm super crazy about that week. (links below image)

Deam Residence

In love with this fun modern home in Mills Valley, California. Designed by Dwell Magazine founder Lara Hedberg Deam & her husband, Christopher Deam

Esther Pearl Watson

Some of you might know the work of Artist Esther Pearl Watson from her comic Unlovable which is serialized on the back of Bust magazine. Her painting work has a similar irreverence and quirky quality. Based in Los Angeles Esther uses a very flat, naive style which is balanced by the intricate brushwork and textural detail, which I just can't get enough of.

Earth Day D.I.Y Round-up

In honor of Earth Day I thought I would do a little round-up of some of my favorite D.I.Y. projects I've seen lately and added to my ever expanding to-do list. For me making home made goods from recycled or local products is one of the easiest and most satisfying ways to be a little greener without becoming to overwhelmed.

A wonderful way to use old china even if it's cracked or chipped. via re-nest

This D.I.Y. project is so adorable I kind've want to have children just so I can make one, maybe I'll just make it for myself. via Pretty Light

This one is for the guys out there, since I really don't focus on you much on my blog via The Purl Bee

Recipe Review: What I Want to Make This Weekend

So I haven't done my usual recipe review in awhile because I've been under the weather so I haven't had the energy or time to do any cooking, so instead I thought I would do a little round-up of all the recipes I want to make this weekend, since I'm feeling much better now. To see many more meal inspirations visit my pinterest board on the subject.
