Jennifer Chun Fall/Winter 2011

I'm loving the mod school girl inspired looks in Jennifer Chuns' Fall/Winter collection. I kind've want to just buy every look and then go on holiday in London.

Friday Etsy Round-up

Hooray it's Friday! Which means It's time for my Friday Etsy round-up, where I compile a list of the best handmade and vintage items I've found while scouring the corners of Etsy. (links below image)

Laura Bifano

I'm absolutely obsessed with the Menagerie Series by artist Laura Bifano. She says of the pieces "inspired by my love of nature and classic video games." I can't think of a better combo for a piece of artwork. Check them all out on her website.

My Nuptials: Photography Inspiration

So for those of you who might have noticed the lack of posts last week, I ended up taking an impromptu break from the blog. Conundrum usually provides a welcome distraction from other things I'm working on, but last week I found myself beyond overwhelmed. So I decided to take a rest, and then come back with even better posts this week! Also if you ever miss me too much you can always find me on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest :)
For this Mondays' My Nuptials post I thought I would share this lovely inspiration I found. This collection of images epitomizes the casual, candid photography and look I'm hoping to capture. found via 100layercake

50 and 50 Project

The 50 and 50 project is an amazing curated collection of work, where 50 designers, one per state, illustrated their State motto. Below are a few of my favorites, see them all here.

I can't get over how great this photo is. via Miles to Style

Sketchbook

It always feels like such a treat to peak inside another artists sketchbook, and this is especially the case with one of my favorite artists Becca Stadtlander. via Pikaland

California Dreaming

This southern California abode is the perfect surfer paradise, with the beach close by and a casual design aesthetic it's a dream come true. via Dwell Magazine

Hobbit Hole

What?! You can visit the homes they built to film the Lord of the Rings movies? I'm booking my flight to New Zealand for sure. Via Fresh Home

Stripes!

There is nothing more classically chic and french then a striped top, it instantly adds that certain je ne sais quoi I'm constantly trying to achieve. Below are a few of my most recent inspirations.

Greg Hart

I'm obsessed with the abstract portrait work of Charleston SC based artist Greg Hart. There's a beautifully complex meld of expression and color and history in each image.

Smitten List

Smitten List time! A round-up of things I'm coveting or smitten with. Sometimes there will be a theme, or it will be more gift focused and other times it will just be things I'm super crazy about that week. (links below image)

Queen of the Road

Did I ever tell you how I badly want a motorcycle? This photo pretty much sums up why. via we heart it

My Nuptials: Inspiration

I'm absolutely in love with the look of this Florida wedding. It's so casual and fun, which is exactly what I hope accomplish at my wedding. Also the colors and decorations or so fresh and delightful, *sigh, I want it all. All images by Ben Sasso Photography, found via Grey Likes Weddings.

Rochdale Cider

The perfect fun and fresh packaging for the perfect summer drink. It's nostalgic, young and simple. Designed by New Zealand based Supply.

Topsy Turvy

Don't you just feel like this somedays, like everything would be clearer if you were upside down? via snippet & ink

Elie Saab

So I'm not usually drawn to the super girly, but all that changed when I saw the most recent couture collection by Elie Saab. It's the epitome of girly, with sequins and lace and billowing sheer gowns, and I'm absolutely head over heels in love. And maybe it's partly because my mind is geared towards all things bridal lately, but I can't help thinking each and every dress would be absolute perfection for a wedding.
