Jennifer Young Studio x Good on Paper 2015 Calendar

Two of my favorite ladies, designer Lisa Wong Jackson and photographer Jennifer Young have teamed up to create a stunning calendar just in time for holiday gifting. I'm always in need of a good calendar and this one is so perfect it is sure to keep me inspired all year long.

Guest Post: Jeanne's Wedding Card Picks

Hello Conundrum readers! Hope everyone is having a nice day! I'm Jeanne from Shop Sweet Things and I'm so happy to be here today while Maia is becoming a Mrs. and starting a new chapter in her life.

I realize finding a nice wedding card is actually not that easy. There are many cliche ones in the market, and when you come across a designer like Maia you just want to get her something a little bit more special. So today, I thought it would fun to round up a few of my favorites. Hope you like it too!

Black & White Packaging

I love the packaging design for Underwearables skin products, created by Danish design firm Spread Studio. It's perfectly simple and beautiful.

New Gig

I'm super excited to be able to announce this morning that I joined the Rue Magazine as the new art director. I'm such a big fan of Rue I couldn't be more elated to be a part of the team. Below is a little introductory piece that Rue posted that I thought I would share here. Photo by Jennifer Young.

Bus by Daniele Genadry

I'm a huge fan of Daniele Genadry's Bus series. She chronicles her trip on the bus from Piazza Venezia to Nomentana in Rome and then layers those images to create visually stunning depictions of the journey.

My Nuptials: Yours is the Earth

I am, of course, designing my own wedding invites, even though now I'm thinking that might be a bad idea, since I've put a lot of pressure on myself to create the most amazing thing I've ever designed. But if I had gone another route I would have loved one of these wedding invite packages from Yours is the Earth. This design duo creates such quirky and colorful invites, the only problem I might have is decided which one to choose.

Mike McQuade

The beautiful and thoughtful use of typography by Chicago based graphic designer Mike McQuade.

How Strange

I love the type and I love the sentiment. via wasting away

Manifest Rebranding

The Manifest rebranding, by Minneapolis design firm Eight Hour Day, is the perfect amalgamation of a smart concept with beautiful type and imagery. So simple and arresting, I wish I had designed it.

Penguin Classics

Beautiful hand embroidered covers for 3 Penguin Classics titles by the incomparable illustator Jillian Tamaki. I would so love to own all of them but especially Emma, since Jane Austen has always been a favorite of mine.

Natalie Nicklin

Natalie Nicklin is a multi-discipline artist and designer you clearly delights in the bizarre. I love how her work reminds me of 70's sci-fi mixed with 50's advertising with a dollop of futuristic film on top.

Pop Chart Lab

If your looking for some pretty amazing, affordable and irreverent wall art, Pop Chart Lab has some awesome options, they will definitely be conversation starters. I really want the 8-bit print and it's currently on sale for $12 dollars!

Studio On Fire

I'm so in love with the letterpress work of Minneapolis based Studio On Fire, I would probably marry it if that was an option. Every piece is just so perfect and elegant.

The Decemberists

One of my all time favorite gig posters ever, by Carson Ellis. So simple and lovely and you can buy it, how perfect is that?!

50 and 50 Project

The 50 and 50 project is an amazing curated collection of work, where 50 designers, one per state, illustrated their State motto. Below are a few of my favorites, see them all here.
